Chief Consultant for Transformation Journey in 1st Line Financial Crime

Do you want to take part in driving our transformation and the development of a centralised change management organisation within 1st Line Financial Crime Risk and Prevention? Are you an experienced Change Consultant with a record of accomplishment in delivering Financial Crime projects, capable of overseeing complex projects with great commitment from the most senior level in Danske Bank?

Danske Bank is on an ambitious and broad transformation journey within the financial crime control ecosystem, including large-scale technology and process implementation, alignment of organisation and governance to meet the needs of the bank and our customers in the future. While overseeing programs within all financial crime disciplines, the solutions must align with a strategic and complementary suite of controls to drive consistency, efficiency, and robust risk management.

In addition to uplifting our financial crime prevention controls and processes, it is critical to tackle the various threads holistically as a single financial crime ecosystem to drive consistency, cohesion, and the most robust risk management.

We are a team of change professionals, primarily with a background in project management, optimisation, and consulting, covering many nationalities. On a daily basis, we work in task forces, helping each other to drive and facilitate a part of our overall change agenda. As our new Change Consultant, you will join a task force, help bring structure to different projects, and progress the change agenda within one of our 1LOD Financial Crime uplift programs.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority of the role.

You will:

  • Drive projects or participate using your structure, interpersonal skills, and analytic skills to deliver change from start to finish
  • Bring ideas, structure, and problem-solving skills to facilitate our change agenda
  • Identify and interact with all relevant stakeholders, and weigh different needs to ensure effective design and implementation of change
  • Coach colleagues to deliver excellence

About you:

  • At least 5-6 years of experience in driving projects or managing a prioritized change agenda
  • A get-things-done profile, eagerness to learn, and always finding a way around obstacles
  • Willing to take the lead to progress against a goal and like to work with people and navigate a network of many stakeholders, building relations and facilitating a common direction to deliver the change
  • Possess an analytical mindset, being able to break down complex problems and find the right solutions, and be able to exercise judgement to balance competing demands and potential solutions to challenges
  • Relevant university education such as business management, engineering, project management, or similar
  • Advanced skills in English
  • Great communication skills and enjoys working in a structured manner
  • Experience with change projects in an in-house development organisation or management consulting firm is desired
