Business Risk and Controls Officer with GDPR Experience

We expect you to drive and be responsible for investigating and handling data breach cases. The role involves a variety of tasks and different activities related to data breach management and is mainly focused on assessment of data breaches & reporting them to relevant authorities. You will work with various colleagues at different seniority levels across our organisation and build an effective network across countries.

This role requires timely data breach notifications to authorities and thus – additional on-call duty agreement will be required to ensure cases are handled within the legislative timelines (scheduled rotation in the team).

You will:

  • Handle data breach cases
  • Prepare reports on data breach cases to authorities/stakeholders inside & outside organisation
  • Provide input to the development and implementation of process optimisation and improvement
  • Independently make decisions, handle deviations from standard processes and practices
  • Act as subject matter expert, lean supporter for related processes optimisations, team development, projects/programmes
  • Collaborate with other international and local teams in the bank
  • Master the systems used to support processes

About you:

  • Experience with data breach management and/or general understanding of GDPR
  • Legal background would be considered an advantage
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Higher education
  • Upper – Intermediate English skills, both in speaking and writing, is necessary
  • Nordic language skills would be considered an advantage
  • Experience working in international/global shared service centers or banking sector would be an advantage

Monthly salary range from 2640 EUR to 3960 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
