Business Manager in Performance and Business Management

The Data & Analytics function at Danske Bank works with each of the businesses to accelerate the adoption of data and utilize analytics and data science to enhance our products and services to our clients.

This role is part of Strategy & Performance, Business Management & Implementation team within Technology & Services, Data & Analytics function, which supports a Chief Data Officer (CDO) and the area.

Strategic insights, empowerment for responsibility, and a large network will be some of the key aspects influencing your role. As a Business Manager, you will work closely with the Leadership team and act as their trusted partner, supporting sound and data-driven decision-making. You will have an overview of deadlines, strategic goals, and HR-related accountabilities with a firm grip on financials and other administrative routines. In addition, you will have a wide variety of interactions with members from within Data & Analytics and stakeholders outside.

We have great ambitions for the newly established D&A team, with room for experimenting and growing together as a team and individually. We focus on flexible working conditions, and you will have the opportunity to work from home of couple of days a week.

You will:

  • Work side by side with leadership on their strategic plans to ensure delivery and monitor progress
  • Act as sparring partner and link towards various stakeholders to ensure alignment between relevant areas
  • Sustain the monthly financial cycle, update cost and FTE forecasts and coordinate the cost agenda
  • Assist in all yearly HR cycle processes to monitor target capacity pipeline and track both on vacancies and headcounts and strategic workforce planning
  • Review and validate external contractors, contracts, extensions and registration
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and engagement inside and outside the organisation about supporting processes
  • Ensure a structured administrative foundation

About you:

  • 3+ of experience of working within business management, finance, office management or similar roles
  • Solid experience in supporting senior management and proven experience with financial analysis and cost forecasting with the ability to use both to drive value-creating decisions
  • Self-propelling, motivated, and methodical way of thinking with a high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Analytical capabilities, solid communication skills, and an interest in technology and data
  • High level of integrity and accountability towards your tasks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to be both flexible and structured
  • Advanced English language skills (both oral and written)
