You will be joining our Wealth Management – Wealth Analytics team, a recently created and growing function started in our Wealth Management business unit. Wealth Analytics is a team of 25 specialists with IT, data, mathematical backgrounds, working closely together across cross-functional teams located in Denmark and Lithuania.

We are a high-impact team serving Wealth Management with analytics to empower a holistic wealth advice improving customer experience. We are passionate about making our customers’ lives better, with a focus on value creation and capture through data analytics. We are also part of a large international community of data and business analysts, data scientists and investment experts in Danske Bank sharing knowledge and new ideas across borders and business units.

In Lithuania we are creating a team that is going to operate as an equal partners to our colleagues in the Nordics when enabling Danske Wealth Management to create and deliver value to customers. We also aim to set an example on how cross – functional and cross-border teams should apply agile – at – scale to deliver innovation – here in Vilnius, we are creating a Wealth Management Hub, where WM Business Unit and WM IT are sitting together to enable even closer collaboration and co – creation.

You will:

Working in close collaboration with dedicated and skilled analysts, business development representatives and IT colleagues, you will contribute to a broad range of projects.

In this role you could approximately expect about half of the time to be spent on engaging with wide range of business stakeholders from Business Development, Retail Banking, Risk and other areas. The other part of the time would go to hands-on developments – visualizations of data insights in Tableau and preparation of data model in SQL (SAS/Alteryx) together with your experienced colleagues from data team.

Examples of tasks that you can expect to work on:

• Work on data insights development tasks – e.g.
o In collaboration with Business Development team, building a solution to follow up on strategic actions (e.g. new investment product launches). Stakeholder – Business Development team.
o In collaboration with Investment Specialists building a solution to provide insights on customers, products, etc. towards investment advisors. Stakeholder – Investment Specialists, Investment Advisors.
• Performing deep dives and analyses to answer ad-hoc requests from business stakeholders regarding investment financials, products, customer profiles, etc. Examples of requests could be:
o How development of trades in a pension product could be explained by change in agreements and customer base?
o What are the profiles of customers (e.g. loss ability, risk attitude, average age, etc.) investing in managed accounts in different countries?

About you:

We expect you:

• Have an academic background in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics
• Have experience with SQL (SAS and Alteryx skills are considered as a plus).
• Have a flair for distilling data to insight and making it visual (experience with Tableau is a plus)
• Are a team player who gets energy from working in a center of excellence with highly skilled data specialists. Sharing best practices with your colleagues is natural to you.
• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in investments and / or banking will be an advantage.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English required.
