Business Analyst for Fraud Prevention

In Monitoring & Screening Tribe, we support the entire Group and play a central role in Danske Banks’ financial crime prevention within Anti Money Laundering, Counterterrorist financing, Sanctions risk mitigation, Fraud prevention, and execution of the Anti-bribery and Tax Evasion policies. We are approx. 200 engaged colleagues located in 5 different countries.

We are looking for a team member for our Fraud Features squad to deliver state-of-the-art fraud prevention solutions. Fraud Features is responsible for running the fraud risk engine for cards and has an important part in including Lending Fraud in the screening.

This is your opportunity to join us in shaping the future defence against financial crime by preventing, detecting, and mitigating fraudulent activities.

You will:

  • Utilize your professional stakeholder management skills to facilitate and secure the necessary alignment on requirements and outcomes
  • Assess and translate business requirements into user stories for cards and lending fraud
  • Support on Cards domain in the risk scoring engine and on lifting lending fraud into the risk scoring engine
  • Document business processes, collect knowledge and update existing service documentation
  • Perform quality assurance (acceptance testing) of developed features on end-to-end processes
  • Encourage dependency alignment with relevant stakeholders and affected development teams
  • Fundamentally understand data, find out what we need and align that with stakeholders
  • Connect the dots, and see the bigger picture of the system landscape, spanning traditional fraud domains like payments, cards, and beyond
  • Initiate and perform analysis, provide insights, and enable data-driven decisions, including problem-solving

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business analyst, e.g. with a focus on back-end deliveries, data, or Card space
  • Possess solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and present different information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Know your way around process design, including documentation, measurements, and efficiency gains
  • Software development process knowledge
  • Great stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to question, encourage and improve when needed
  • Professional communication skills and advanced level of English
  • Agile Mindset – being open-minded and adapting to emerging requirements or changing squad needs
  • Solid sense of ownership and delivery-quality-oriented mindset
  • Be exploratory when looking for creative solutions and have a creative and collaborative approach to ensure timely deliveries

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2480 EUR to 3720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
