Danske Bank has embarked on an agile change journey of scale, and this position is located in the Business Analysts Chapter within Finance Tribe.

In the Insights & Reporting squad, we supply the senior management and CFO Area with best practice Tableau solutions. We are responsible for the end-to-end report journey: Establishing the data layer (using SAS, SQL, or Alteryx), creating the solutions (using Tableau), and distributing the content through WEB applications & APPs, to make it easily accessible for our users (Angular, .NET, C#).

The workplace will be located in the Vilnius office together with a team of 10 colleagues. The other part of the team is in Copenhagen, and we work hand-in-hand within a global setup.

You will:

To fulfill the position, you should be a highly skilled Tableau developer and be motivated by supporting others to grow their technical skillsets. As a Chapter Lead in Finance Tribe, you will both be working as HR responsible for your team of business intelligence analysts and as a squad member in the Insights & Reporting II squad.

As a leader, you will

  • Be responsible for supervising a chapter of 8-11 engaged business intelligence analysts
  • Developing your chapter member’s skills and competencies within our BI toolbox
  • Be a member of the Business Analyst Chapter Lead Team and contribute to the overall strategy for developing the business analysts in Finance Tribe

As a squad member, you will

  • Develop and maintain monthly performance management reports, such as our financial reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, establish new reporting, and develop new self-service tools for easy insights into our financials.
  • Focus on the efficient data collection process and automation.
  • Pay attention to the aesthetics of data visualization, to ensure the best user experience.
  • Get a clearly defined responsibility area with deliveries to stakeholders globally

About you:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience from Financial or Performance Reporting, BI Reporting, data systems
  • Expert knowledge with Tableau and extensive experience with SQL, SAS/Alteryx
  • Previous leadership and management experience or very strong interest and motivation to try out yourself in this area
  • Degree in finance, economics, mathematics or related
  • Great collaboration and communication skills
  • Can attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and your ability to self-organize and work autonomously with the mandate to move fast and do things differently – you also are not afraid to fail and learn from it
  • Ability to collaborate with many different types of people, challenge ideas, and self-develop
  • Good English skills (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of banking products, financial steering, and accounting would be nice but isn’t required
