You will have a possibility to get a central role in Danske Bank’s implementing of the international regulation of the finance markets and to become a MiFID guru!

You will get a unique insight into securities and derivatives trading and the related control environment which is highly prioritized in Danske Bank Group. You will be part of MiFID Regulatory Control team in Vilnius who works close together with Regulatory Control in Copenhagen. In Vilnius, you will join a team of 6 professionals, who will help you to join the team and understand the key daily tasks.

Team’s focus is to control the ability of Danske Bank to comply with new and existing finance markets regulations and to fulfil our high quality standards.

Depending on your experience, knowledge and interest in the Financial Markets and operations, you may join as a more junior or a more independently working colleague. What we offer you is a role in which constant learning, growth and development opportunities are available.

You will:

As Analyst you will help ensuring that the bank lives up to both existing and coming regulatory requirements on the securities and derivatives markets stemming from MiFIDII, EMIR, Short Selling, Dodd-Frank, SFTR, etc.
In this position you will be closely collaborating with Regulatory Control in Copenhagen, which is a department in Corporates and Institutions with ten academic employees.

Main tasks:

• Designing quality assurance frameworks
• Specifying demands to new processes, procedures, controls, and reports
• Creating analyses, tools, programs, and calculations
• Establishing data based controls
• Recording and management reporting of findings

About you:

• General understanding of trading in securities and derivatives and experience with trading systems
• Strong analytical skills
• 1+ years of experience in financial/banking sector would be an advantage
• Quality and solution orientation and adaptive to fast-changing environment
• Knowledge of SQL would be a huge plus
• Good collaboration skills
• Higher education degree in relevant field: mathematics, finance, economics, etc.
• Very good English skills
• We expect that you are flexible and open-minded team player
